KW Cares--and it Shows!

On September 28, Hurricane Ian left devastation in its wake as it made its way across the southeast United States pummeling the state of Florida and its Gulf Coast before making landfall in South Carolina two days later. With top wind speeds approaching 155 miles per hour, Ian was one of the most powerful hurricanes to hit the U.S. in decades, Hurricane Ian left scores dead in a massive search and rescue effort in communities ravaged by flood.

Ian killed at least 105 people in the state and left hundreds of thousands of households without electricity, and multiple counties suffered damaged crucial infrastructure including critical water sources.

But as we've seen time and time again, in the midst of such tragedy, heroes are born. Everyday people dare to rise and make a difference in the lives of others.

I'm proud to be of an organization--Keller Williams--that does just that!

KW Cares closely monitors the development of weather and natural disasters that may affect our associates and their families or loved ones. Through generous donations from the KW family, KW Cares coordinates supplies, clean-up assistance, and other critical needs during some of the most trying moments in an individual's life.

I hope I will never need the benefits of KW Cares, but I'm proud to say that "I Care, too!"
