Who doesn’t daydream about the perfect home? It can be fun to browse the internet and peruse images of incredible homes, perhaps perched on ocean cliffs or tucked into wooded hillsides. For most of us, living in extreme luxury isn’t exactly in the cards, but I believe that everyone can live in their own concept of a DREAM home!
A Dream Home is Different for Everyone
If the difficulties of the last few years taught us anything, it’s the value of home. During this time, many homeowners (or would-be homeowners) were inclined to reimagine the idea of a “dream” home or “dream” lifestyle and became determined to make that dream become a reality. A full 27 percent of current homeowners in a recent survey shared that “buying their dream home” is a near-term life goal.
But What is a Dream Home, Anyway?
A grand kitchen, a backyard oasis and a sumptuous Primary Bedroom with ensuite remain high on a Buyer’s “Dream” wish list. These are wonderful wishes and valid desires.
But when I talk about a dream home—particularly in Sedona and its adjacent communities—the concept is more than just shiny appliances and hot tubs. It’s a lifestyle that must be created and curated by the homeowners themselves.
We are blessed to enjoy incredible views and endless options to enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle. Sedona is a charming, welcoming community with room for everyone. I believe that we can all have a “dream” home because it’s not just about the square footage or number of bedrooms. A Sedona dream home is created by the homeowner and is a compilation of location, hopes and ultimately, memories!
